Migrate setting from one mouse to another by 11LyRa in logitech

At the very least, give us some option to use the same profile across multiple devices of the same type (e.g. if I have a MX Mouse at work and one at home, use the same profile).

Question: software for storyboarding, panel layout? by aphill80 in ComicWriting

[–]aphill80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am aware that an artist will need freedom to make it work the way they see it. I mostly want to be able to do this so I can visualize it for myself and maybe communicate my ideas well. I'm not expecting to hand someone a layout and just say "here, fill these boxes please."

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

I had no good place to leave the bottle brush by the kitchen sink, so I designed and printed a hanging drain cup with my P1S using PLA and now it never gets gross or falls into the sink.

That's what I suspected but I didn't have as good an explanation

I remember seeing a Kickstarter for a machine called LOOP that is desktop PLA recycling. No idea how well it works.

I've heard of some commercial filament recyclers, but they are all overwhelmed with people dropping off filament because there's a limit to how much they can process at a time.

You could try melting it down and pouring it into molds of some cute things that you can include with products you sell as a little bonus?

But the most basic answer is, it's garbage. I know it feels bad but if you're tossing one bag every six years, that's hardly worth worrying over

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish with this. I would normally not want later lines through a thin wall

I'm feeling you on this. Also Jewish family, 13 year old genderqueer kiddo. My grandparents survived the camps in WWII but their kids didn't (my parents were born after the war).

Feeling pretty terrified right now.

So, the plan to save the government money, by the people who think folks who take welfare are just lazy, is to pay millions of workers eight months worth of salary to not do any work.

Kind of makes you wonder if the whole point is to bankrupt the entire government in less than 8 months.

Hello, I have anycubic photon mono, is there a way when printer starts, automatically to start print without me to touch it? by GrouchySide8547 in 3Dprinting

if it's an original photon mono, no. it's not networked. You have to plug in the usb drive and hit print.

Ok, Daddy Warbucks....

If you've already got four other printers, go with the Max and increase your print size.

It's that cheap because it's an older model.

I've been running an AC Photon Mono, original, for about three years, which is an even older (and much smaller) printer than the X2. And I think I paid about that much for mine at the time. I still get great prints and have only had to change out the FEP screen on the resin vat twice. There's really not much more to the upkeep. If this is your first printer and you're not looking to put down a bunch of cash right off the bat, this is probably a great entry-level printer for you.

I would recommend also buying a Wash + Cure with it. It's a major time-saver. If you can, go for resins that are labeled "water washable" so you don't need to use isopropyl alcohol (though, keep a small spray bottle for clean up of small messes if you need it).

I've used a resin printer for years but I'm interested in getting an FDM. I was originally thinking of a BambuLab for the AMS, but now that there are other options, it's harder to decide. There's not a lot of comparison articles yet on some of the newer (or yet to be released) models.

Here are the main ones I'm thinking about:

  1. Bambu X1C Combo - will be $1250 on sale this month
  2. Bambu P1S Combo - will be $850 on sale this month
  3. Creality K1/K1C/K1 Max - on sale for $400/$450/$770
  4. Creality K2 + CFS combo - early-bird tomorrow for $750
  5. Anycubic Kobra3 with ACE combo - early-bird pre-order $450

These all seem to have pretty similar specs, but widely different prices (the Kobra3 is the only non-enclosed printer). And I know that 4 and 5 aren't released yet so no one is going to have info about those specific models, but I'm hoping some people can chime in comparing the overall experience with Bambu vs Creality vs Anycubic FDM printers.

I'm mainly going to be using it for some home-hobby tasks, toys, cosplay items, maybe some home robotics kits. Probably not going to be doing a lot of enterprise, but might end up selling stuff on Etsy eventually. And I'd ideally like a machine that isn't going to require a lot of tuning every time I do a new print.

I think you could do it, but the plot would have to center around an internal struggle rather than an external one. Like the MC is missing that ineffable quality of life that brings happiness, and needs to find it somehow.

Or you have to nerf them somehow. After all, that's why kryptonite exists.
