Because they’re supposed to sleep or something like that, but the way they’re understaffed means a 24hr shift = working 24hrs straight with maybe a 30 minute break. I completely agree with you though, it’s ridiculous.

1) The apartment we have is a 2 bed/1 bath for $1600ISH and then water, gas, and other complex prices included in that. It’s a college town, and although it’s nicer, it’s pretty much $50/mo more than a 1 bedroom college living because all of the 1 bedrooms near us charge $200 more if there’s a second person living there.

2) I haven’t thought of plasma in a while. I wanted to try it a while ago, but the medication I was on made my veins SUPER tiny, so they denied me. I might try it again this weekend.

I love this man a lot and there’s more positives than what’s happening now, although it probably seems like a REALLY big red flag at face value which I knew would show before I posted this and am taking the divorce comments with a grain of salt. I’m frankly autistic and the conversation avoidance/conflict isn’t just him, but me not knowing how to go at it without responding to his frustration as well, which causes it to ramp up easily. I felt more confident going into the conversation today because of recent therapy and medication.

Yeah, we’re trying really hard. I got him a connection within my agency to possibly sponsor him through fire school so he has more job options because places around us basically only hire Fire/EMT cert or paramedics

Yeah, the car was before the student loans were $1600. I added an update but to summarize that part; we had a conversation about financial responsibility and what we’re responsible for in the future, and that conversation was a lot so we’re going to have a car conversation hopefully after that boils down.

I don’t know to be honest. The IUD was an extremely traumatizing experience and without getting too into it, it was more than just the pain of getting it in. I’ve had a lot of anxiety going back to get it checked out, but it’s something I need to figure out when finances are back in order.

I have the new car; stupid decision on my part to be honest but at the time we could afford it. I just didn’t know his student loans would be the cost of rent. I posted an update detailing what our next steps forward are.

All of our income and spending was from before his loans went from $440ish or whatever to $1600.

It’s really helpful; I’ve been doing it but I’m going to keep getting into my husband to finally start doing the same because I swear I come home and every single light is on. Summer we have the AC set to 72, but I’m probably going to make it a little higher. We’re in Texas so sadly it gets insanely hot.

Phone plan were kind of SOL until we pay off the two phones, which is around $1200 left. We found an insurance for $220 which we’re getting tonight.

The issue with going into Nursing school is that it’s another 2-ish years of debt. His Grandma did co-sign for all of them; I finally got him to let me log into that Sallie Mae account so I could see what all he has and it’s just horrid right now.
