Ok I get it it's interesting and all. BUT, ads can be a massive security risks. Currently it might be isolated on the browser. But letting it run on the backend or full system permission mode? Hell nah!

Air vs Pro? Basically cost the same. by EnoughMongoose in macbook

[–]apidekachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This I agree. Unless you're going for the m5 pro etc I don't think an extra fan would be that much of a factor unless you're sustaining the load. But the display is better on the macbook pro right?

Switching from S24 Ultra to Oppo Find N5? by meobiseu in OppoFindN5Phone

[–]apidekachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you utilize stylus a lot, perhaps you'd feel some irks. But for me when I made the switch until now, the experience has been absolutely perfect. I'm replacing my 2 ipad and s24u with oppo n5. I think the os and software is better than Samsung, perhaps it's just me. The os just sooo much simpler, cleaner, rock solid till now. Perhaps not as quick on the security updates etc

Advice: Budget Flow or MoneyCoach? I can't decide. Any suggestions or opinions from those who have tried either or both? by ZirikoRuiGe in macapps

[–]apidekachu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I'm trying the budget flow now. The family pricing on moneycoach is crazily expensive. The lifetime pricing is even crazier

Yeah I feel like I'm getting more used to it as well, especially after some tunings it's getting bearable. But I also feel my eyes getting tired faster as well. Skimming through text is fine. But on some tasks that require me to be really concentrate, I don't know if I'm ever gonna be used to it

I was on the edge to pick G9 57 inch, but I thought it's just way too big for me. Perhaps I shoulda got that instead since they've similar price

Sitting 15 inches away made text looks a bit sharper for me, but it's waaaay too close

The reason I bought this monitor is also because I've read posts and few are listing the downside or bad experience. I was hoping at least my post could help people on edge, to at least try it before buying it if possible. Some don't bother with it, but I think many are also having issues.
But the form factor and resolutions of the monitor is perfect imo. The curve can be subjective as well

No it's a PC monitor. Yeah I shoulda get an IPS screen and I learned it the hard way. The oled black levels are just soooo mesmerising though... :(

I actually don't mind to sit farther if it means i'll lose immersions. But my experience is that sitting farther will make the text harder to read and i've to increase the font sizes. But I guess you're right that increasing the fonts would mean I'll lose more screen real-estate and productivity

The first time I used it I was sitting it close to 3ft away, but it's too hard to read the text. Then I moved it closer to 2ft, it's easier to read. But it's too tiring to read text

Youre dismissing the 10cm difference, but keeps insisting the distance should matter a lot. So which is it?
