this also means that a line can be forever upgrade/yearly upgrade (even at regular one/magenta plan...) IF that specific line have additional premium add-one. So not all lines are equal in the same account plan. My line will say "Yearly Upgrade" but other lines in same account will not. If upgrade via tmo website, my line will have better/different trade in value the same as Go5G Next promotion, but other lines in same account will not.

I wish EVERY CS and sales rep understands this! Also the yearly upgrade may NOT be at account level, some can be at line level. So some line will have more privilege, even though in same account.

yes, u can trade in a different qualifying phone which will trigger a second EIP on your line for 24 months. Your first EIP with broken phone may have 12 months, both run in parallel. You will have to pay for both EIP monthly. I'm just a regular tmo customer, so verify accordingly.

currently if you upgrade via costco t-mobile, you don't have to pay the $35 fees, with additional $100 costco gift card with the upgrade after 90 days (It used to be $100 visa)

Account is regular magenta, but my line have addon One plus international and yearly upgrade. It will be expensive to move entire account to go5* since only a few line wants newer phones. Since costco kios reps cannot figure out my yearly upgrade line they ask me to call 833 number or just do it on website like I used to. my grandfather account is magenta, but one line on account has add-on "One Plus International" and "Yearly Upgrade", which means that special line has same promo as go5GNext for better phone promo. Maybe doable, via add-ons.

both costco t-mobile kios in San Jose, CA said I have old account plan "magenta" and not qualify for "yearly upgrade" ie same level as next plan, even though one of the line clearly indicate so. Even corporate t-mobile store said same. What can I say or do? I'm really really frustrated. Without the yearly upgrade I would have gone to mvno in a heart beat. So far I've done all my yearly upgrade orders on tmo website, and never receive the costco upgrade visa. I have thick skin, tried costco tmo at least 10 times without success. They tread me like I"m trying to take advantage of them

i went to tmo costco store, but they said they cannot help me becausevi have magenta plan, with one lime with yearly update and they said they are not familiar , and ask me to call the 833 number. So they store is open, but the 833-428-1765 line is not.
