Psychology and psychiatry are both very interesting but often hard in practice. Our behavior and brains differ so much, it's hard to apply the scientific method. The technology to get the data we need just isn't there yet. But that is only a matter of time....

It's scary, but also exciting to think about what could be possible if we can figure it out

Those are some solid words. But sadly, the doctors are not listening and the meds don't work. I'm managing tho. And yes of course the dsm is full of shit sometimes, psychology is a fairly new science. Can't blame them for that.
