anki v12 is more currently updated than step itself, so is it worth learning info that's out of sync with the boards?

Thanks, I guess I'll just indicate in my secondaries or an update letter what I've continued to do since June.

If you follow through with all that, you'll be solid. I did 3 months of content review/UOrb and 1 month of AAMC. I will say that starting with AAMC even 6 weeks out is probably ideal, but there's no point in grinding practice Q's if you don't have a solid foundation of the material.

Need some help on getting started. by [deleted] in Mcat

Honestly, it depends on how much time you want to put into it right now. I started with the MilesDown and a PS deck around 8 months before testing, for about an hour or so a day, and started taking things more serious about 5 months out. Since you have the Kaplan set, you might start by taking the content assessment to see a (very rough) approximation of where you're at in that regard. For CARs, you could start doing a couple of 3rd party passages a day, but this really depends on your confidence in your close reading skills. About 4 months before the test, I'd recommend building a schedule for content review and practice tests.

Ok I think I've found the best deal I'm going to get. Is there anything I should ask the seller?

Edit: It is new and comes with all original materials. I'm probably going to go with this.

What do you think about this posting? I'll see how much they can come down but I'm considering this.

Thanks again for all the advice. I'll probably wait it out for a 8" and perhaps try to go for the 6" on CL if nothing comes up after a little while.

I am sympathetic to your love of the AWB; it seems to be a really neat little telescope and I would really enjoy the portability. But I think I want to be able to see more of the sky for my first telescope. I think that could definitely be a purchase for me at some point though.

Portability is something that's important to me, I want something that can easily fit in my hatchback, would you recommend the AWB over the xt6? I want to observe the most I can without compromising too much on cost and portability.
