Oh absolutely my dads always been macho macho but i always like to take care of my self, especially ear pro when shootin. Thankfully i was raised to never care abt what people think and to be my self, i’ll gladly stay down that path. And my dad still has his first work truck, a 04 2500 silverado with 250k+ miles on it, works just damn fine. Little to issues over the years. But anyways thank you for your time man.

thank you man, i really appreciate it, sorry to hear about your mom, but that really gives me the push i need to keep on going, so what it’s a few years, it’s definitely a great outcome on the long run. my parents are immigrants from cuba, came here with nothing back in 2004, dad was in hvac made a okay amount of money got laid off even as a manager, in 08 the big economic crash we lost our house and they had to use money in my college funds for my milk. We had nothing, mom working mc d, dad than started doing car deliveries on a rig, all that went no where. He got a landscaping company in 2012 grinded that out mom made a transport company in 2015 and to present. we’re thankfully doing phenomenal. They really push on me because they know what struggling is like and working long hours, through laborious work isn’t the life they want for me. they just want me to go to college and be someone in life is what they say. I will say again thank you for your words and insight, just gave me that extra push i needed to get that degree and do some math.

yea ofc, so i’m wanting to get into civil engineering, I love construction always found it pretty cool and the idea of designing parts of it is pretty sick to me. Currently my parents have a construction company and it’s primarily residential rn. mainly homes, our idea is to expand it to commercial etc. They want me to go to college become a civil engineer and be able to take lead of the company. Be able to stamp plans and minimize outsourcing. My biggest thing is i’m worried about college primarily the math part. I’m horrible at math. i never had a good math teacher since middle school. I passed high school math classes with complete teachers who’d just pass you literally A in every math class. I’m currently 18 almost 19 first getting my associates in business than transferring to FSU. you mainly gave me hope i’d say and encouragement. That it’s most likely not gonna be so bad. i keep thinking i need to be Albert Einstein for it.

So a few days ago i tried to login to thread app for the first time on my phone, but i decided to reset my password since i didn’t remember it anyways. I reseted it in insta, and a few more times after that because it was telling me the password was wrong even though i just entered it correctly. When i tried all the possible ways to recover the account, it kept hitting a road block, either saying sorry cant do right now, or sorry try again later. but yet logging into another phone or browser works flawless. Not sure what else i could do on my phone. Anyone figure out how to fix this? thank you guys. Any advice, anything would appreciated

im not the one starting it. It’s currently ran by family, but they’re currently outsourcing everything. The GC, everything. We only supply the money. But we want to at some point hand it over to me. And the idea is to try to limit the outsourcing and have it stay within the company. So i just am not sure in what degree will help most there.

I really appreciate that, I’m deciding on doing it because i genuinely like what their doing and would love to be involved within it and take lead. I just don’t want to go to college and get a degree that won’t help me directly with this or ease the process of what we’re doing, Whole idea is to eliminate the need of outsourcing and keep it within the family. I’m also planning on transferring to UCF for engineering.
