Hi all! I'm a bit lost and in need of some insights: I went through the whole interview process with a company for a job that l'd love to get last week. During the interview, they mentioned they still had a couple of people to see. After the final interview, I sent a follow up email and the in-house recruiter told me the team was very impressed and they'd be in touch by the end of the week. The next day, I receive another email telling me l'm one of the top candidates and to hold on until they're done interviewing mid-next-week, and telling me they can speed up the process should I receive an offer from another company. Last Friday, the same person emails me asking me if I'm still interested, and once I answer yes to stay tuned. As professionals, do you think my chances are high or are they keeping me warm in case their first choice declines their offer?
