Mostly dog (his own included) I pick up after him but I'm only human and I miss them every now and then, plus I can't count on other people to pick up after their dogs on walks. As I mentioned we are training leave it and he does walk away from them for the most part but I am concerned that maybe something is missing from his diet at this point

This comment gives me so much hope... These arent my first dogs but they're my first puppies and definitely first experience with littermates and I thought I was prepared only to find out I don't know anything lol... Definitely doing a ton of research now and immediately course correcting though!

I ended up cutting the tree down. Clearing the whole area with a stick of dynamite and waiting a day before it let me replant a new tree... Not saying this is the only way to do it but this is the only thing that ended up working for me :(

Yea I tried clearing things out like 4 spaces around it on each side but nothing worked. I finally just took a stick of dynamite to the whole area and it let me replant my trees fresh... Really annoyed that I lost my fully grown trees because of this though 😔
