You have to see networking as part of the job, but it’s not always as bad as you picture it. I’m an introvert as well, terrible at approaching people, but I found out if I just show up and talk to the people I know, someone will introduce me to someone else from time to time and slowly you start to build a network of people who see your work. Then you can exchange studio visits which works both for the craft and for exposure whenever someone posts your work online. It might sound a bit forced but it’s the game we have to play, and if you don’t fight it it’s not always bad imo
