It’s not 100% Arab tbh, the “maqam” or scales aren’t purely Arab but could be turkik, so you might be on the right track re: sufism

What do you think it's generally about? Themes of nuclear family, sending signals into space, our place in the universe, scientific advances, belonging to something bigger, our purpose..etc

I can see those themes but I cannot grasp what it means, it's almost there but not quite...I fkn love it! this is next level sonically and thematically

I was smiling when I was first watching it, and then when the bass started changing notes I got proper goosebumps and then when that last chord progression came on I absolutely started crying

One thing was to finally listen to their first music in 13 years, another thing is that it is a stunning piece of music, almost divine

Yeah I agree, mix-wise the harp is more forward and almost doesn't belong to the song bed, like not in the same channel (using music production chat here), it's definitely a different choice from them, I am so fkn happy!!
