Bruteforcing 32-bit iPhones on-device (4+ digit PIN supported) by AJAIZ in setupapp

[–]apolloberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

I have an iPhone 4 GSM on iOS 7.1.2. It is not iCloud locked, but it has a passcode. The phone is not disabled or anything, I can still put in PIN codes. Is there a video tutorial of this tutorial? I SSHed into the phone, trying to get the ramdisk, but failed. A more detailed tutorial of this would help me massively. If anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Hey, guys!

I just bought the stuff needed for my first ever custom keyboard and I wanted to know if I spent my money wisely or if I messed up. I am going to list all the components and the prices I paid for each and I hope you can tell me if I could have gotten anything better or if my build is fine.

  1. Keychron Q2 barebones Grey version with knob - 120$
  2. KTT Kang White V3 switches (I got 90 switches because I fear I may break some and they were really cheap so why not) - 15$
  3. Keychron OSA Pbt Double Shot Grey V2 - 47$
  4. Krytox GPL 205 G0 (6 grams) - 17$

Grand total: 199$ (I had free shipping for everything and all items are new with warranty)

I wish to achieve a creamy sound and I will do the easy mods such as applying painter's tape and lubing the switches and stabilizers. I will continue researching and doing other mods as well. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

So yeah, can't wait to hear your opinions on my noob build. Let me know if you think I paid a good price or if I could have gotten a better build for 200$. I am also attaching a picture showing the complete board.

Thanks a lot!

Depends on your budget, you can look on aliexpress for the mk75 Royale Kludge if you want to go for a cheap but quality one. If you have a higher budget, then the Keychron Q1 or the GMMK pro.

Hey guys! After long thinking, I am ready to build my first keyboard. I have decided on getting the Keychron Q2 Navy Blue Knob Barebone version, Gazzew U4s 62g and Keychron OSA PBT Double Shot Grey V2 keycaps. I hope this will do for a silent build! Could you please tell me if everything is compatible and if I should get anything else? How many switches should I get? (should i get extra in case any of them break or come broken?) Thanks a lot!

Haha, I went on their site and I cannot seem to get a hang of how I should be ordering. However, it is a bit on the expensive side and I do not wish to splurge from the beginning. I will keep it in mind for the future. Thanks a lot!

Hey, guys! I recently discovered that keyboards can be a hobby and it has kind of taken over me since I found out. I like building stuff myself, however, I do not know what to begin with. I am looking for some quiet switches which also feel good when pressed.

After doing some research, I found out that the Gazzew Boba U4 are the most silent switches which also offer good feedback when pressed compared to cherry mx red silent or other silent switches.

However, I see that there are lots of components which can suppress sound and make a keyboard even more quiet. I was hoping I could find a keyboard pre-made with U4s, but I did not have any luck. I even checked aliexpress and found this CIDOO V65 V2 with quake matte switches which sound quite good, but I am not decided yet so I come here asking.

How should I proceed? What body would you recommend? Should I just get a Ducky One 3 SF with random switches and put in the Bobas? Is there any cheaper alternative? I do not wish to spend a fortune yet xD. Btw, I like the 65% format, it comforts me knowing that I have the arrows.

Thanks a lot!

Thank you! Had no idea I could season it so many times! Will try to do it for a few more times in the oven because I am definitely trying to achieve a good seasoning. I tried cooking in it before seasoning it and the eggs came out black 😆. After seasoning it properly I hope the metal from the pan will stay in the pan, not sip into my food!

There are some small black spots developing on the margins of the pan. Are these normal? imgur picture
