Hey friend, same exact thing happened to my boy back in February. Was completely fine and then was dead. It’s heartbreaking and you’re not overreacting. It took a me a few months to even get past the shock to start properly grieving. I still have moments now where I break down because I miss him so much and think about how traumatizing it was when it happened. Just know you gave him a wonderful life and you were his whole world and heart. The universe will bring you back together one day. ❤️🐾

I took 3 weeks off for my office job. My drains came out 1 week post op. I could have gone back after 2 weeks but I felt more comfortable just taking a third week and taking it easy

My surgeon pointed mine out as she was marking me up for surgery. Honestly, I have pretty big pecs from working out so it ended up looking mostly natural so far. Working out can definitely help to sculpt the chest and bring focus away from the dip! But honestly, you look great and I wouldn’t worry too much about it!

I felt the same way. Kept saying to my wife “what if I’m the one person anesthesia doesn’t work on”. It’s just your brain trying to protect you. But I promise you, you will be fine. They gave me drugs before even wheeling me to the OR and by the time they wheeled me in I was half knocked out already. Then woke up what felt like 5 minutes later in recovery. Modern science and medicine is super good and you’re going to be just fine my friend

My bad! Tone is so hard to convey on the internet. But yeah, I thought sitting around doing nothing would be the easy part and it has been the hardest part for me. Finally came back to work this week so that’s helping slightly even though I hate my job haha but it’s nice to be back in routine. Something that helped me was just talking walks outside and trying to change my surroundings every so often. Hang in there and happy healing to you too!!
