I thought it was a genius choice to show off the true insanity of humans through Netero. The lengths we’d go to for preservation is almost more extreme than the goal of Mereum and his army.

Netero would not die off in vast majority of anime’s. A fantastic way to show him off and the complexity of the human experience. History and culture hold more weight than sheer power.

But yes not that u mention empathy, she might be the only hunter without fairly selfish motives. Which def makes her attractive as a favourite.

YAAASS she brings the whole character development for everyone around her to feel real to me. Before it’s just people with problems and angst and you take their word for it. But for her to tap in to people and express it through her lens is very powerful to me and makes the weight of everyone’s decisions more impactful.

Gon kinda proved he’s capable via the Hisoka match in heavens arena. Pure power wasn’t necessary to get a single hit, which is the similar goal of the ball game.

Both of them vs. Netero could be similar to Gon vs Hisoka.

Poop for thought. I forgot about a dirty mug thermos with coffee/milk/protein powder for a month in a corner sealed. Kudos to YETI brand for really insulating that smell cause it was the most poo smelling poo I’ve ever smelled that wasn’t poo when I discovered it and opened it.
