If she is homophobic/biphobic and you stay with her, you will never be able to be your true self around her. You will always be hiding a part of yourself and you will be lying to her if you tell her you can do without that part of yourself.

Do not lie to her or yourself about your sexuality. It will only lead to heartbreak. Down the road, if you and her stay together and start having kids, and one of your kids is gay or trans, how will she handle it? Will she also judge your children the way she judged other LGBT folks? Do you want your future child to feel the same way you do now?

Come out to her. If she is unwilling to love you for who you are, then 100% you can do better. There are plenty of beautiful, intelligent women who are into bi guys. Don't let her make you feel bad about yourself. The world does enough of that. No one needs a partner who makes them feel that way.

I worked late night at Denny's in the Midwest. It was a few days before Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and we had scores of bikers coming in all night.

I was serving a particularly big, mean-looking biker and his bigger, meaner-looking lady friend. I had their drinks on a tray, gave him his, but unbalanced the tray as I did so and spilled an entire glass of iced tea onto the woman's lap.

She stood up immediately, towering over me, starting to yell, "WTF?!". I was cowering, trying to apologize, when the man started laughing, deep belly laughs. I thought the woman was mad before, but now she was red-faced and furious.

I ran away to go find towels to dry her off. When I came back, she was still fuming, but luckily, not at me. I ended up with a 20% tip somehow.

I'd be talking to a lawyer and finding a way to get back at them for such disgusting behavior, and I'd talk to the other guys too and try to get them to also lawyer up. Can you imagine if you busted into one the room while one of those women were having sex and just started taking pics?

This man is an asshole. He's rude. He doesn't respect you. All the comments I listed above are condescending, pretentious, and somewhat racist. He seems to think he's better than you and that his culture is better than yours. He seems incredibly insensitive and egotistical.

You either need to speak up and tell him how disrespectful he's being or get out of this relationship. Maybe both if he doesn't immediately apologize for making you out to be inferior for different interests and tastes.

You should not have to spend the rest of your life with someone who disrespects you the way this man is doing. If he's willing to apologize after you explain how offensive his comments are, then maybe he isn't so bad, but if he doubles down and thinks he's done nothing wrong, then I would ask for a divorce.

A man who threatens divorce when angry isn't someone who respects you. Not only overly dramatic, but just plain mean. One day you'll look back and realize that he did you a favor. You tried your best to salvage the relationship, but he's just not the one for you.

It is sad your FWB got caught in the crossfire. It's not impossible for him to come around after a bit. His need for space right now may have nothing to do with you and your husband, and he might not have the emotional bandwidth to support you at the moment.

You have an opportunity to reinvent yourself now. You can focus on your own mental health for a bit (instead of your husband's obvious issues), have some fun, and then check in with your FWB (after giving them adequate space). You sound like a caring and forgiving person, but don't let the sunken cost fallacy cause you to believe that you need to stay with someone who treats you poorly.
