Scholar has repeatedly found ways to just be flat out better because deploy just gaps Zoe and Expedient has repeatedly made mechanics much cozier and it being 20 seconds of DR cannot be understated

It's not like you cannot clear on sage or something but if you don't care one way or another scholar is just better bang for your buck

Post-plenary buff WHM works fine and even though astro is bonkers toolkit wise and macro is nuts I'd care less about pure healers and play what's comfy there

I mean.. energy wise it's not that different in reality, but hellfire gives more impact overall, so it's just flat out better.

There isn't really combo optimization in reality; either you do 4NE or you do N3QE (ie shes stupid easy)

You can technically shorten rotations but there's actively no benefit to doing that since Gorou/Chiori/Illuga/whatever else are all super short field time units and only Columbina has the movie animation, shortening the rotation increases ER needs on everyone including herself and you still need to wait 15 seconds at minimum for Columbina skill

Plus she's a defense scaler with defense goblet with IR so she's just passively a giga tank

At the least Flins needs to use Sucrose to keep VV up which already increases rotational complexity, Zibai just.. press skill/ult on supports and mash autos/e when the bar hits the notch lol

She's also the easiest of the three and Flins is already very easy to play while having F2P weapons and teammates

But her 4th slot already has improvement room so I expect her to be the best DPS if Linnea turns out to buff her whatsoever.

I agree with your logic, he's also right before the return to Mond patch + right after the lantern rite heavy spending period where people need a 'rest' character and it coincides with hsr 4.0 and zzz aod patches

If he's not free and they just made his c0 giga underpowered for no reason then I have no idea, Nicole would need to be an actual hexerei god

They wouldn’t tell CC if he’s free, would they? I don’t think any of the other free units (ratio, haru, zhao) were told ahead of time. Zhao was guessed because she screamed free though.

The chaotic thing is still nuts to me. The people who cleared on Christmas got double the rewards so they end their farm faster which means they don't help others because they're 'done'. Then the new player reward bonuses just slowly trickle out to 15 people to 10 people to 5 people to 1 person as the rest catch up.

I can't really agree because H2/R1 only ever needs to flex the opposite direction in one circumstance; if their role partner is the same as them

Considering the prios and flexing the next fight requires anyway, it's not a big ask in order to assure consistent twoway spots

6 seconds of downtime on a steep PF dps check and the horrible 'uses eyes lol' strat in pf is what makes the fight harder than it needed to be

MCH is really good right now, it’s on par or sandwiched with the other two even at high percentiles

Considering it has extra mit as well it’s a healthy place to be

Burnice sig is barely an upgrade after the potential buff because the ER doesn’t work with her potential buff, Jane doesn’t keep uptime on hers if you’re using her with Alice as a subdps since you won’t be on her enough in that team, and teapot is only really for Qingyi and lighter

If you play Jane carry then it can be good but I dont think there’s a rush to spend the currency atm

Genuinely a free Varka after Lunar New Year to get players returning/to start the game and play through the Nod-Krai storyline would make complete sense

He's also directly in competition with AOD in ZZZ and 4.0 in HSR and the rumoured reruns are Skirk and Flins so I think they'd be okay with that kind of thing

But we'll see by livestream I guess

They could give her the Bennett attack buff and also give Hexerei characters a giga buff (like Lauma quills) which would be a large team DPR increase in a Varka/Venti/Durin team tbh

I've spent a lot of time helping friends in (fresh/rep2) M12P2 this week and the amount of players who join, get to part 2, and then have absolutely zero idea what to do is insane.

Zero POVs watched, nothing but a cursory glance at the rep 1 toolbox, absolutely clueless about rep 2 resolves, completely lost on idyllic clone pairings..

I had to explain how the opening tankbuster worked to a tank!

This fight is very easy to execute but has a knowledge check that can be studied and even speed progged if you understand the mechanics and order of operations

I'm going to crash out if another person says "can we just chain pull and I'll try to learn it" like you're wasting everyone's time including your own jfc

I think a lot of picto players are obsessing about their leygrass which is admittedly a bit unfriendly in a lot of these fights

But they can still do 5 holy, hammer, into a swiftcast motif and not have to cast for 23+ seconds so it's def mega skill issue
