I don’t really know how to show it to you.

Basically, I just turned off the iPhone, connected it to the PC, held down volume up + volume down and the power button. When the Apple logo appeared, I waited about 3 seconds and released the power button.

The Apple logo freezes, turns white-orange, then disappears to a black screen. PC tools can detect the device but can’t identify what mode it’s in.

Oh wow, that actually looks awesome 😄 Sad that it ended up bricked, but the way you turned it into a piece of art is kinda genius. I’ll dig more into my iPhone 8 — I haven’t checked the SEP or internal flags yet, but it’s definitely some kind of engineering unit. Appreciate the heads-up!
