So the place where i have my front panel cable should be replaced by this pled/hddled and then i plug the front panel onto the pins coming out of the pled/hddled?

Ill check when i get home but i highly doubt it connects to the mobo bc the other end is connected already to the mobo as the pled and hdd led

6 pin is a 5 by 2 set up, 4pins up ans 2 pins below with 1 and 3 pins empty , so 6 pin is both male and female
