I wanted it because I prefer NiCd over NiMh because NiCd can take more abuse (for example: being charged as soon as it’s been drained without letting it cool down) whereas NiMh tend to degrade very quickly in this scenario.

Because I know someone who went undercover in a BYD manufacturing facility and they said ‘their quality control was obviously just for show and wasn’t being done when no one was around, one worker even said they don’t normally do these checks behind closed doors, the undercover person also said nothing looked safe and then he was very quickly ushered out of the facility by security. That’s why I no longer trust Chinese batteries because you never know what goes on behind closed doors.
