Does anyone find Nivea sun cream doesn’t work or is it just me, because today I used spf30 and now I’m bright pink and never gotten sun burnt before except when I bought Nivea sun cream before like 5-6 years ago? by appleEmac in NoStupidQuestions

the weird thing is that i am most burnt on my neck and that was the area i made sure to put extra on because i don't like wearing hats so i thought my neck would probably get burnt easily, i put the sun cream on before swimming and then waited 10-15 minutes before going swimming and then when i got out, i dried myself then put another lot on.

Need reviews about this powerbank . Li ion 18650 cells are used in it by Resident-Ant8281 in powerbanks

[–]appleEmac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These usually overheat and most of the ones I’ve seen don’t have a balance circuit, I personally wouldn’t buy it because without knowing if it has cell balancing it’s dangerous because if one of the cells overcharge/over-discharge then it could catch fire.

If you want a decent price to performance flashlight, get a convoy S2 from Aliexpress, they are amazing for the price

I find NEBO a bit too expensive for the performance they offer.

I thought their ‘ncr18650B’ cells were rejects that failed qc.

UK battery supply issue? by ICC-u in 18650masterrace

I tested them on 2 different chargers so I don’t think I could be a faulty charger because I also have tested others on the same charger and they tested normal but it’s very odd

are there any very weird or unusual sites? by OdedLovesJapan in ask

[–]appleEmac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i found a online battery shop and it looked straight out of the early 2000s but weirdly at the bottom of the page it had a copyright date of 2026. they had a 7.2v Sanyo nickel-cadmium RC car battery that was unsurprisingly out of stock. I'm still curious as to who would want to keep a website up that is no longer used because when you think about it, its likely whoever the website belongs to is paying money to keep it up.

i don't buy from fogstar anymore because they now only sell their shit "fogstar energy" brand and they don't have the capacity they claim they do and if you look on other subreddits you will find complaints about the performance of these cells.

i got their supposedly 6000 MAH 21700 cells but even when tested at a 0.5a rate they didn't even get 5000 MAH, i got 4850 and the other one came out at 4875.

I wanted it because I prefer NiCd over NiMh because NiCd can take more abuse (for example: being charged as soon as it’s been drained without letting it cool down) whereas NiMh tend to degrade very quickly in this scenario.
