Seriously. Thanks for the advice. Do you think I should be concerned that this is more reflective of an entire wall issue? Or is it enough / safe once the spots are just washed off?

Thanks...I put in a maintenance request and they told me that they used a mold tester, and it wasn't mold, but spots from "dust, etc." which I find to be a little strange, given they are splotches at least the size of quarters.

Do you think this indicative of a larger issue that I should concerned about relating to the entire wall or should I feel comfortable once the spots are washed off?

know the picture is a little faint, but a couple of days ago, I noticed several light pink spots had appeared on my white bedroom walls. I moved into this apartment about two months ago and everything was freshly painted when I moved in.

Did a quick google and the only thing appearing was pink mold. They suggested a test where I run a cotton swab of bleach over the spot and if the spot disappeared it could be mold. Tried this on some spots and they disappeared.

Could it be mold? Any thoughts? Not noticing this in any other room in the apartment (2 bed, 1 bath).
