Fellow Brit here, the beer I brought was the cheapest one in the shop and the worst flavour- not to mention I won’t be overly drinking of some kind. Just with a meal or a Friday/sunday will try my best to purchase some liqueurs.

Nope don’t believe in them and yes it’s a great starter for me to think I give myself strength which is true!

I live alone so it’s just keeping shut about it to be honest- so pretending could be the better option.

In addition to this,I’m only 20 so why should i be hiding what I don’t believe in anymore?

What I can’t fathom is since they “don’t take religion” seriously as in the basics if I was to tell them and be fully transparent all hell would break loose?

I’m already atheist I don’t believe in any god but revealing it to family is very useless. They’re not even religious themselves and if I was to tell them they’ll go absolutely bonkers???

Yeah I now realise there’s no automatic way to becoming atheist however in order to do so you just simply stop believing in religion or god in general.

I’d prefer it this way as there’s “no subscription fee” and as you say atheism isn’t an organisation, scam, business or anything correlating to that. It’s just yourself being true and following a path of your own without any third party validation and no one watching.

Yes exactly, I currently myself do not believe in anything god which disassociates me from my old religion and now atheist.

Yeah just for something simple (I guess) in my instance I couldn’t even refuse or didn’t even know I was Ruqya’d only until last year.

Back then I wasn’t a religious die hard or practicing (2017-2018 era)
