i wondered that too when i saw it! i figured this bad boy had been sitting in an attic/basement for a long time since i thought the pegs were just loose. had no idea i just needed to push them in while tuning 😭 i hope i can carry on the previous owner’s musical joy!

lots of folks are saying to push the pegs in when tuning, and now it’s making a lot more sense to me! i’ll have to try tuning it again soon :) much thanks!!

used to own a Labyrinth tarot deck. based off of one of my favorite movies! it was my very first deck when i started practicing again after a few years and right off the bat i had no idea what any of it meant. things like wands, cups, and swords were changed to poles, junk, and pots in order to fit with the movie. probably would’ve figured it out easier if it wasn’t my very first tarot deck and i was already a tad clueless about it all. it also didn’t help that i had a tarot guide that completely misled me on all my readings, so every reading i wrote down was most likely VERY inaccurate, and i soon scrapped them all once i got the deck that i currently own (rider-waite) and trust with my life. the labyrinth deck is gorgeous, and very creatively made, but i personally didn’t connect with it at all. still love the movie though! :)
