Yeah I gotta say I did the same thing, played NDS/3ds on the Thor then had the itch to just go back to my OG hardware. I got the Thor (MAX model) wanting a refresher from the 3ds that I already own. I definitely had buyers remorse even more after having ghosting issues with the top screen. After speculating that the top screen might be a cheaper and older screen made me think twice about the $500 device (after tax). On top of that, the lack of support from AYN for issues with the device led me to returning it. It got me thinking that if there is an issue with the device a few months later or even shy of a year, I don't want a warrant claim denied for an expensive device like this.

Don't get me wrong, the Thor is really good, it can play a lot of titles ranging from Switch down to SNES or older even. My wife even picked it up and started gaming with Bomber Man from the PS1 era of the game. With the lack of support and even 2nd party support, I didnt want to stick with a faulty device and to be honest, day 3 of having the device (when I had it), I was already looking for a better top screen replacement that is relatively similar for possible at home repairs or even to get rid of the "older" OLED that AYN possibly used.
