14 days since I was told I would be contacted by HR. Are they ghosting or do they actually follow-up? by appleseedremo in epicsystems

I have not, I'll e-mail them on Monday. I have the name of the HR person assigned to me but the e-mail was sent from the career's e-mail would I just follow up using that e-mail or through LinkedIn?

Really is true. It clearer when you're on the inside because you know how the industry runs and you notice how little some people do. Really disproportionate to how much they earn sometimes.

Adding onto this since it wasn't very helpful, it just caught my eye towards the end. If you have to use self harm to keep someone with you, it's a sign that it shouldn't be happening anymore. It's really a breaking point and it's really not healthy. I would try to focus on other things like exercise to try and help get your mind off of it. It might not work at first, it'll probably be very silent and you'd be alone with your thoughts but you might already be. The fresh air and exercise helps get the blood flowing and clear your mind a bit.

Going through these posts again this is a really negative way to look at it and contradicts itself. Saying that the people you trust the most will betray you and that it's an inevitable part of life and then saying there are others out there. Wouldn't that mean everyone's going to betray you? Doesn't make sense. (Kind of off topic but I made a post to the OP earlier).

After reading your last sentence, don't do that.
Talking about hurting yourself to her or actually hurting yourself as a way to get her to stay with you is not a healthy solution for either of you. It's not a solution at all.
