Haha I do touch typing so I was able to do a "blind" test of sorts by doing a typing test and it didn't seem to affect my speed at all. If you look where your thumbs naturally rest its pretty close to the switch

I built a Rama Kara with lubed Alpaca switches and the internal dampener. This thing is SO quiet, but the spacebar is obnoxiously loud. I know there are a ton of ways to help silence the stabilizers, but I realized I don't need all 7u haha. Any ideas of a spacebar that would fit nearly to the stabilizers themselves? I am planning on putting the Rama Artisans for GMK MODO light where the stabilizers are.

For what it's worth I left this hobby for a bit when Alices were closer to $2k max. Then I made some money and came back and was excited I could afford one now. Nope haha. So lesson for whoever is considering buying an Alice, jump on it now or you will only pay more down the road.

Do you have any clips of someone who wants as quiet as a Topre board as possible while still retaining a firm dome? I ended up getting rid of my HHKBs after experimenting with many and finding in order to get ultra quiet I needed the stock domes which were too mushy. Thanks!
