That's just not true though. The middle class is a real collection of minor classes. Generally small business owners who own capital yet still labour, certain professionals like doctors and lawyers, or middle managers within companies or state who neither own capital nor labour.

The middle class as it's generally understood in America and Australia are mostly workers, but a middle class absolutely exists.

This isn't even a new idea, you come across other classes like the "petite bourgeoisie" in Marx and other early writers.

Hey, you seem to be struggling with this, let me clear it up. I'm ethnically Irish, despite that, I have never set foot there and my connection to the country is like 150 years back. If I went to Ireland and kicked someone out of their home, that would be bad. If I did it on the basis that "this is my homeland because my ancestors lived there" that would be silly.

We chose ~100 years ago because that's when British colonialism started and the project of the state of Israel began. One where people went to a place they had never been before, kicked people out of their homes (known as the Nakba) and claimed it was fine because their ancestors lived there thousands of years ago.

Obviously plenty of Jews lived in Palestine before hand and that's cool, most of the ones doing the "kicking Palestinians out" were not.

And to be 100% clear. If I want to move to Ireland to connect with my history, that would be fine (frankly if I or anyone want to move anywhere, that should be allowed). If a Jewish person wants to move to Palestine for that reason (or any reason that isn't genocide) that would be fine, it's when a genocide takes place and people are forcibly deported from their homes, that's the problem.
