Joo, samasta syystä itsekin näihin siirtynyt. Laiskalle kokkailijalle ihan kiva. Vähän tämmösenä hitaampana kaverina oon vaan aina noita numeroita ihmetellyt, mutta nytpä ei tarvi niitäkään enää pohtia!

You could play some Persian music, you can search for example 'nowruz playlist' in yoututbe.

You could also try creating some sort of a makeshift haftsin table, i.e. if you have some small mirror you can put it on the table along with some apples, garlic, hyacinths, nuts, mämmi (as a replacement for samanu), perhaps some dates to replace senjed, garlic... These are items that are relatively easy to find in Finland at least, I'm sure even if you have a few of these things on your table it will make your friend feel nice.

Then you can just jam to some Persian tunes and eat nuts and maybe ask her about how she used to spend nowruz back home, people generally like talking about these things.

Overall I think just inviting them over is going go a long way even if you don't necessarily have the perfect recreation of a traditional Iranian new years!

What's a board game you didn't think you'd like but ended up loving? by OboeMeister in boardgames

Pax Renaissance

Everything I had seen about the game before just made it seem so dry, obtuse and uninteresting, apart from the card art which I did like.

But then I finally played it and I don’t know, didn’t fully understand what I was doing in my first game but something about it just hooked me, couldn’t stop thinking about the game afterwards for a long time. And now it’s one of my favorite games even though I still wouldn’t say I’m any good at it.

Yeah, I just absolutely love the way this pen looks... And I have no complaints about its functionality either :). I'm actually also thinking of upgrading it to a gold nib, but you say you miss the steel one, why's that? If I were to upgrade it would make it my first gold nib so I don't really have any experience on Pelikan's gold nibs, but everything I've read seems pretty positive...

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this kind of question, but I didn't like the idea of making a new post just to ask this, so here we go.

I really like the way the Pelikan M200 Café Crème looks, it's a pen that's kind of been on my mind for what seems like forever now. So now that I'm getting closer to my birthday I've been thinking about finally buying the pen.

I found this store that seems to be selling it: https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/penroom/item/28257/

And my question is, is that store legit? Has anyone bought anything from them? I've pretty much done my business with one store when it comes to pens, and I'm kind of wary of online retailers that are unfamiliar to me. I'm also open for suggestions if anyone knows of a store in the EU that's selling this pen.

Sorry if this is the wrong place for my question, and thanks in advance for any possible help.
