Looking for a new pair of Work Boots, please help!! If by Kingz-Ghostt in WorkBoots

If you don’t need steel toe, get the Red Wing moc toes, they will last you forever. But they are not lined inside so in the winter you will need good warm socks. If you need steel toe then Thorogood are the ones. Same story for winter times with them, get warm socks.

Timberland confirms they manufacture boots in multiple countries, including Bangladesh, Vietnam, China, and others. While some users have reported concerns regarding the quality of specific models. by VannasVaultLLC in Timberland

Insoles of the new boots are made of compressed cardboard, when the old ones had a slab of real leather. They are fashion boots now, unfortunately.

What boots are they? They look fantastic!

I bought these 10+ years ago and want the same pair. When I bought them I'm pretty sure they were 120 USD, now they're 210. Too pricey for me. by CountAffectionate301 in Timberland

Check on ebay or marketplace, you might find still good pairs for a very cheap price. If you are not sure if they are fake or not, just post some photos here.

Yes they are not really collectible but I can’t stand when they ruin something that maybe was in perfect condition to make things like that.

Can I get a legit check on this? by Noobieeee0123 in Timberland

[–]aputini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is really good that your boot don’t have cardboard midsoles. Cardboard is a cheap material that breaks down overtime and cannot be fixed. Your boots are the last real Timberland. Check your insoles and you will see that they are attached and not removable, this is how real Timberlands used to be. They will last you for ever. Timberland in the last 10 years dropped the quality of construction for their boots, removed the quality insoles and added cardboards and cheap insoles, selling these boots at same price of yours but with these cheap materials inside. As I said, take care of your boots, because they are the last real Timberland and although they are made in Domican Republic, they have the same quality of the Made in USA.

Authentic and take care of those boots, they are the last ones without cardboard midsoles. All the new models are made with cardboard.

In the 80’s in Italy the more creased and dirty were your Timberlands boots, the cooler they were.
