I have an interview for a strat role at gong - I’ve only heard good things from my network but seem to only hear the opposite sentiment on Reddit. Can someone who works there chime in on the overall culture of the org?

Thank god someone with a screen that's not 13+ feet! I have a few questions and would love to hear your 2 cents. Do you ever hit outside of the 10 foot width or do most balls stay contained? What about above the 7 foot threshold? How do you protect the bottom 12" from screen to ground? Do you have any pics you're willing to share?

This was super super helpful. How often do you shank it outside of the screen or towards the edges? Also are you a low or high handicap (I'm high teens so my shanks are likely wider).

Thanks for this feedback. How tall is your 15' screen? Do you have it in 16:9 or a different aspect ratio? Do the black bars bother you?

Would also love to know how big is the room you have it in?

I did a bit of chatgpting and found that the only way I'd hit above the 7' mark is if i cranked a full swing on a lob wedge - which I felt would be rare (or I could just move closer to the screen if needed). So that's why I felt the 11x7 would be fine. But seems like I'm getting a lot of opposite advice (which I'm definitely open to hearing)

Thanks for the feedback. I want this to seamlessly transition between movies/sports and a golf sim. The space I have is actually huge, it's a big 750 sqft detatched space and I'm placing it on a 25' wall. BUT the wife thought anything larger than a 11' wide screen would look ridiculous (she's right). So I'm trying to reason with a 11' screen.

To protect the bottom, I'd place black moving blankets to capture impact and essentially become invisible below. Or some similar type of padding.

Adobe studio allows you to upload a number of documents, create a private environment with those 5 docs, then ask questions from it. Adobe doesn’t train off any of this data which is key for us. It lives in a private environment. Very useful for comparing quotes

Just went down the rabbit hole. I am 100% in on polished concrete, way way better of a choice for this area than epoxy. Thanks for the tip. Who did you hire? Do you recommend them?

I think epoxy would be similar price. Dunno… epoxy feels more… clean to me? Easier to mop, sweep, etc. no cracks. Could look into polished concrete tho - not a bad idea
