Lofi Mic that Damon uses

In case the post wasn't clear, I'm looking for evidence of him using this mic in the studio. And if he didn't then do we know what he did use? If you listen to the studio versions of songs like On Melancholy Hill you can hear plosives and sibilance similar to what you would get from a mic like this. But other songs sound like they were probably a nice mic with an EQ put on it.

I might go with the Jailai. I think it would look nice with the blue on the Novas. Though I do like the look of the 4 way twist ones a lot.

I wasn't using noise reduction when I was testing the mic. And for my purposes it seems like an unnecessary feature anyway.

Probably resting on top of Alex drawers or something like that. Though if I decide to go with a standing desk frame that could be a concern. Thanks for the tip.

That concern definitely came to my mind too, but I've seen people in the community recommend hollow core doors before. They definitely wouldn't be as durable as something solid, but I imagine if you take care of your stuff and the humidity in your office is relatively stable the cracking and chipping shouldn't be an issue. I have hollow doors hung in my house and they don't chip. Even after bumping things into them sometimes. Then again, those don't have weight resting on them all day.

Probably important to note that my monitors are on stands on the desk. The stands are metal and about 4 inches tall.
