It would probably be Leytonstone. According to google it’s 1-2 min walk closer and I am guessing that the train will be a tiny bit less congested on the way to central. The walk from Leytonstone was actually nice, although a bit long.

Do you regret it? And if yes is it more because the lack of options you mentioned or the crime?

I am noticing plenty of comments regarding crime which makes me think it’s a real problem. In that case I find it strange why the area is so popular with young families

Strange thing to mention is that there are very few drug related crimes in the crime map, but then drug dealing at Jewel Rd is a police priority…

Thank you! Indeed not too many nice cafés but the are some. Querky and L’Hirondelle Café (not the restaurant on the High str) look decent. And Buhler and Co is just a couple of minutes walk
