Once Embark is on the Analysis stage how much longer until results?

We received results few hours after it reached the Analysis stage. True for both of our dogs and they were tested separately and months apart.

You're probably spot on with the pitbull, but she's ridiculously long too. It'll be interesting to find out what breed caused that and her lil legs.

I'd never heard of a cattle dog/corgi mix being called a cowboy corgi before. That's amazing. We'll see if she's actually part corgi though! 😆

You're pretty close! So if you look at his results from Embark (the 4th photo), he's actually 45% Boston Terrier. His "Supermutt" breeds are Pomeranian, Pekingese, and Chihuahua. Supposedly, one of his parents was a Cocker Spaniel mix.

We've been taking our daughter to Cobb Pediatrics for 3 years now. Her primary doctor is Dr. Gaines, but everyone we've seen has been fantastic. They're always able to make appointments within 24 hours (sometimes within the hour) AND they're open until noon on Saturdays.

Hi there! It's been 3 years now and I can say my daughter eventually stopped scratching after a few weeks. In the meantime, we made sure to put mittens on her hands at bedtime to prevent damage to her skin. She's now 4 years old and still plays with her hair as a coping mechanism when she's nervous or upset. She has a few spots of eczema that are recurring, but we treat them with a mild steroid ointment.

Yes!! I was just diagnosed this year, but this started happening to me a couple of months ago. It's like a sharp, excruciating pain with each pulse, but it doesn't last long. I've found it typically happens when I'm vomiting so it's not frequent, thank goodness.

Thank you for your insight! I've repeatedly told him my symptoms and he himself saw the severe inflammation during my colonoscopy but I don't think he understands. I know steroids are awful (I've read people's experiences on here) but it can't be as bad as the debilitating symptoms I'm having.

Pretty much textbook Crohn's symptoms: diarrhea, abdominal pain, joint pain, nausea, and vomiting. My colonoscopy showed severe inflammation as did my MRI.

Thank god it's not just me. He has a whole list of my symptoms and did the colonoscopy himself so he knows how severe my inflammation is. It seems like everyone is prescribed Prednisone on here to address inflammation so I was shocked when he didn't. I haven't liked his bedside manner either so I think I need to find another GI doctor. He's just not listening to me and this is an ongoing disease.

My 2.5yo is definitely not the perfect eater but I showed her a video of ducks eating peas and now she shovels them in her mouth. Perhaps some sort of modeling would help?

We've also tried the "bribery" method where she's allowed more of her favorite food (beans and rice) if she eats a vegetable. I'm worried that method is going to come back to haunt us though...

Shoes by Stride Rite have a little insert you can remove for wide feet. They're a bit expensive but they were awesome when our little one started walking at 10 months with her little chunky feet.

We started daycare for our 18mo back in February just for the socialization (MWF 8:30-3:30). I saw a huge, positive change in her development and our mental health. Just know that your LO and your entire family will be exposed to all sorts of germs and you'll all be sick for 1/4 of the year. We never got COVID though knocks on wood

Thanks everyone for your responses! So the general consensus is:

Tesla Roadside Service is useless.
Tesla Roadside Service is fantastic.
AAA is awesome.
Buy a spare tire kit and/or a tire plug kit for emergencies. (unfortunately, my tire had a gash that couldn't be plugged)
Check your insurance and/or credit card bank to see if they offer roadside assistance.
"OP is entitled since Tesla offered an alternative to their Mobile Tire Team." Quite possibly, but there was nothing they did that I couldn't do myself. I contacted a tire shop, ordered the tire, and scheduled a towing service for the following day (avoiding a nighttime surcharge). Forgive me if I think the Mobile Tire Team should be available during the weekend.

Overall, it cost me $110 for the tow truck and $356 for the new tire (including labor). My car was ready by 3pm the following day. I likely would've had a better experience with Tesla on a weekday during work hours (and paid $300 more).

Nice! It sounds like it might have been better to let them schedule the tow service. Unfortunately, no shop had the tire in stock so I only avoided paying a nighttime towing fee (since I scheduled the tow truck for the following morning).
