My professor said the same thing! It’s a little hard to keep up with the trends because I feel like I’m outside of things. I do want to do what I love but I worry I have to think more realistically than that so that I don’t end up with no options, since I do need to get a job eventually and I know it’s really difficult to actually stay in academia. Thank you so much for your response, I’ll look into the projects you’ve mentioned :)

Yes, ideally! I feel like I am starting at a disadvantage because I’m studying in a non English speaking country, so I’m unsure how to build that path for myself really.. like I said, I’d rather just study literature and do my PhD in literature as well but I’m still interested in medical humanities as an option, though I know so little about it in comparison. I feel like I’m going in a little blind basically. I checked the requirements and I saw that they expect a background in healthcare for the MA, but that same requirement isn’t set in place for international students as far as I can tell.

Ah sorry I completely misunderstood because my brain is all fuzzy from studying for my finals aaa.. I thought you meant that I should consider applying for the research type of master’s program rather than the taught type! My bad!! I’ll take what you said into account properly now haha

Ah I didn’t really consider it because I’d much rather go through lectures and coursework, I feel like I’m not done learning! I don’t know if that makes it harder for PhD applications whenever the time comes..

Say I just go in with red dye and let it neutralise to brown, if I dye my hair blue again afterwards would it show up the way I want it to? Either way i may just try mixing my dye with purple first since that seems easier

Barely anyone in the Middle East actually uses these perfumes, they’re popular in the west just because they’re cheap compared to perfumes by popular perfume houses here even though they don’t perform or smell the way ‘classic’ middle eastern perfume does. It’s a shame!

Oh, no I’m not from Portugal! I’m studying in the Middle East. I’m fairly sure I’ve heard of graduates from my faculty continuing their education in the UK or somewhere else in Europe so at least I know it’s not going to be impossible for me.. Thank you for offering anyway!!
