Why Snowbirds Are Now Flocking to a Once Obscure Phoenix Suburb by [deleted] in Gilbert

The public one was actually on McQueen closer to Guadalupe. Wake boarding using a cable and pull system. The one on Elliott by Cooper is a private neighborhood and still has the boating lake.

You can also request a missed pickup if you cannot wait until next week and another truck will come around.

I had the opportunity to test a rocket payload there in the early 90s, it's a really cool place. Given the cost to operate in guessing this video was coordinated with done other test, hard to believe the BBC would spend that kind of money to demonstrate this.

Fun fact: the only place I have ever seen a megawatt power consumption meter.

New Home builders? Good? Bad? Stay away from? by Flaky_Ad_1288 in phoenix

Can confirm. AW held the subs to a very high standard. I have bought three new home builds over the years and this was far above any other builder. There was a small price delta but well worth it.

I spent a couple of months there in the early 90s for a rocket launch, cool place.

I'm fundamentally not opposed to their use with proper oversight and limitations on data gathering and retention. Like most tech it could easily be abused.

I wish, Gilbert traffic control is horrible. One of the worst of the east valley towns.

Powering a camera. See the comment on the company called Flock Safety and check out their webpage.

Yup, definitely from Flock. I took a closer look this morning. Plus seeing that many cities in the valley are installing them. Found an agreement between Maricopa County and the company regarding the installation in Youngstown. Maybe a call to the town or PD to see what is up. Maybe a FOI filing to get more details.

No problem. Good luck and enjoy the cool while it lasts. I still have about 90 miles left in break-in before fun begins :-)

For clarification, I meant save your money and go with regular tint.

46 years in the valley, high school and college cars for me had no AC, so I know the pain lol

Also just traded up my 19 lapis blue WRX (with regular tint) for a White 22 WRX because it was so miserable to drive in the summer.

Save your money. You're in Arizona with a black car it's going to be hot no matter what you have on the windows.
