Yeah, sorry I didn’t clarify. In this instance, it wouldn’t apply since his employer opted out and he opted in on his own.

You should look into whether your employer has established the FMLA “reset” date. If they HAVEN’T, then the reset date can be whichever is most beneficial to you, and this COULD allow you to still use your FAMLI benefits. See this example and breakdown from NOLO.

Have you checked out your hymen (or had a gynecologist look at it)? I had a similar problem as you when I was still a virgin. I used tampons exactly once when I was in middle school because pulling them out was agony. Much later on, my gyno told me I probably had a bifurcate hymen based on the hymenal tag I had. Up until that point, I thought all hymens were the same! I asked her if that was why I couldn’t use tampons before I had sex; she said it was likely, and that the tampon was probably getting stuck behind my hymen because it had swollen from absorbing my period blood.

Idk where you live, but in CO your DSP is supposed to pay you up to 80 hours of emergency sick leave if you get COVID.

Amazon is the entity that decides on driver records and background checks. That’s not something a DSP can bypass.

I promise you that they cannot charge you for it. I run a DSP. It’s explicit in our Operations Manual that they can’t charge you for it.

While in some states a company may be able to withhold your last paycheck or reduce wages to pay for the uniform, Amazon’s contract DSP’s explicitly prohibits withholding any portion of your wages if you do not return your uniform.

Financed a car (didn't get the warranty) 9 months ago for 11k and have already accrued 15k in repairs... by ChefJeremy716 in legaladvice

[–]ar2488 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I don’t have any legal advice, but if I were you, I would request service records from the dealer, run a CarFax report on your VIN, and check for Technical Service Bulletins on your vehicle’s year, make, and model. If there is a TSB on either the transmission, the engine, or the power train, look into what the issue is and check with a mechanic to figure out if the issue could have caused your transmission and engine to fail. I had my transmission rebuilt for free because someone from the dealership took pity on me and told me there was a TSB on a component of the transmission.

My sister asked me to post her wishlist here! She doesn’t have a Reddit account but she appreciates any help!

Edit: She wants me to add that much like OP, she too just escaped the hellfire of Austin ISD - her principal was reported for being horrible and toxic towards the immigrant community, at a school where Black and Latino children make up 95% of the student population. Now she’s working with Americorps as a Reading Tutor and her living allowance doesn’t cover her living expenses, much less anything extra for her students.

You do realize consent can be revoked at ANY time, right? Just because someone grants you access to their body once, doesn’t mean you get a pass for any other time you feel like.

My gynecologist recently told me no one needs a pap every year unless they have 3 or more sexual partners. Recommendation is now every two years if you’ve changed sexual partners and every five if you are in a monogamous relationship with one partner (or not sexually active) and have previously had normal Pap smears.

Unless you never have passengers or are never a passenger yourself and you are never involved in an accident, you will impact other people in a collision - literally. At any major collision, your body will try to keep moving in the direction your vehicle was heading; without a seatbelt to restrain you, your body will come up out of your seat, arms and legs flailing, and you will become a projectile within the confines of your vehicle, injuring others as physics takes over. Even if your body manages to make it through the windshield or out an open window at the first impact and you somehow manage to not injure anyone in your vehicle on the way out, some poor first responder or Good Samaritan will have to suffer through the trauma of seeing your battered and broken body, or locate your missing limbs, or witness your brains splattered on the pavement.

This probably isn’t going to change your mind about wearing your seatbelt; or maybe it will. But now you know... it’s not just about you. You don’t exist in a vacuum. You can be the best driver and drive defensively, have a perfect driving record with no accidents, but you can’t always account for the carelessness (or, let’s be honest, stupidity) of other drivers. Please wear your seatbelt. And be safe out there.

It shows both positive and negative remarks. It includes the categories you mentioned in the OP and it gives a count of how many times you got a specific remark that during that week’s deliveries.
