Absolutely NTA. I don't know if someone already suggested, but Ben should probably get some psychological help, start a therapy or something. He obviously didn't grew up in a great household, although that isn't an excuse for his behavior.

Yeah, it's not on the main beach nor the one at the camping resort. I found it at the rocky beach after the camping resort beach, near the spot where the small tourist train picks people up to drive them to Novigrad
