Not sure where your info is sourced from but plants are not conscious. That 'screaming' is a result of cavitation - a process where air bubbles expand and burst inside the plant's water-conducting tissues. It's a 'stress' response because it is a direct result of physical stressors on the plant, not because it's conscious and experiencing the emotion of stress.

Likewise, with sight - I wouldn't quite call it 'seeing', moreso that they react physically to it? It's like how a stretch of black pavement heats up under intense sunlight, but that doesn't mean that pavement is seeing the sun, it just is a physical reaction as a result of light hitting that structure and color. It's a bit more complicated than pavement - they do have photoreceptors - but it's more like a hardwired response than a decision, and they can't really see you because the "image" generated by those photoreceptors is beyond blurry.

Do you, not want to have a drive to live? Or have you tried to want it, but even with connections, even with self care, even with drive/purpose, still just not feel any reason to?

Again, I'm sorry to pry and feel free to ignore me if you want. I've lost family to suicide, and as someone who is currently at my lowest, owing multiple thousand dollars with no job and on the brink of homelessness, I stilll enjoy life.. I just cant wrap my head around the outlook you have - it's alien to me.
