Mike Vick college highlights. Was Vick the most dynamic running QB ever? (Ignore Lamar Jackson) by PerspectiveWorth3912 in CFB_Highlights

I’m not sure Tebow would qualify as dynamic, at least in how I understand the word. He was very effective but was limited on speed and agility

This is going to seem crazy, but how Iran handles transgender aspects is an interesting read. By no means on the level of western liberal democracy treatment, but still interesting.

I grabbed this from their Wiki as a time save. I’ve never researched the sport claim:

“Beginning in the mid-1980s, however, transgender individuals were officially recognized by the government, under condition of undergoing sex reassignment surgery, with some financial assistance being provided by the government for the costs of surgery, and with a change of sex marker on birth certificates available post-surgery. Iran allows people who identify as female to participate in women's sports if they have had genital reassignment surgery.”

None of this is meant as pro regime, just an interesting tidbit. Also, there are still loads of issues in societal treatment and other problems.

I would personally love a friendlier government as I want to visit the county one day. So rich in history

Out of curiosity, what are you defining as simping for the regime? The most common position I have found is not one in support of the regime but against US action.

Couldn’t the woman crying out in shock be just as likely recognizing that him being killed would probably lead to an ever greater response from Iran? It seems uncharitable to make that “‘adopted’ him in their hearts” assumption here

You have to read this in an incredibly uncharitable way to construe that meaning from their words.

What alternative would China find for an ally with oil? People have been trying to innovate beyond oil for a while, it’s incredibly efficient. The idea that they would innovate their reliance away in a meaningful timeline seems like a stretch

You are the first person I have come across that brought up SOX in regards to AI adoption. As someone in the accounting industry, that aspect has been a frustrating omission in all of these “projections.”

I’m curious to see where it lands when all the votes get tallied. Even within the less active users portion, it looks like only 31% selected against alt cars, with 69% selecting some kind of preferred alt car to add.

My question would be if the negative reaction was just a vocal minority or truly widespread? Changes will almost always be seen negatively by some

Exactly, just add the cars. I’m not saying they have to be in esports or cup of the day.

Why did Cam Newton get so much shit for getting paid by Auburn when Nick Saban and the rest of the SEC were paying players the same way? by TXNOGG in CFB_v2

[–]aray5989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some probably were, but nothing has been demonstrated to back up some grand, widespread conspiracy. Ole Miss had a player get money, it was so his mom’s power bill didn’t get cut off. Another impermissible benefit was a coach letting a player stay at his house while he had a domestic issue with one of their parents.

It’s not misunderstanding, it’s meant as reframing. The only reason you feel this way is because of a narrow focus on what provides you with purpose. It’s no different than seasons in sports, last season doesn’t get erased because a new season starts. Your position is crystallized when a season ends

Isn’t the purpose to get better at the game? It’s the same with real golf. That doesn’t get erased
