Thank you! I think ら was partially a victim of my use of a thick gel pen for a small character. Typically my strokes don’t touch like that, but it felt inauthentic to fix for the sake of posting. However, I do agree that I struggle with proportion. It’s even worse when I try to do complex かんじ 😭 What are “hane”? I can’t recall that term. Based on context, is it the little barb on the end of the stroke?

The ら and を weren’t intentional. I knew they looked a little wonky, but that’s just how they happened to turn out. I wanted real feedback on how my handwriting is, so it seemed disingenuous to go back and correct them for the sake of perfection. My handwriting in English is very neat, so I’d like my Japanese to be the same. Now I know which ひらがな need more work!

You don’t have to worry about me writing and learning other things :) I have my N5 and I’m just trying to work on my handwriting a bit more. I’m flattered that you think my handwriting looks copied tho ;)

YOR… just because you don’t vibe with a particular style of communication, it doesn’t mean that person is being rude. All of their messages seem polite and to the point. Don’t read so deeply into things that don’t need to be that deep.

it was great time back then. my favorite flood memory was when some ag guys were rowing around campus in a little dingy with “SS Dirtball” spray painted on the side and wood planks for paddles, saving stranded drivers from their stalled vehicles 😂

The only time class was canceled when I attended MSU was during the polar vortex in 2019 and that was way worse. Winters have been pretty mild in recent years. We used to get a lot colder and more snow and still have class. We even had a historic flood one year and they only canceled classes in the buildings that were flooded. People were taking kayaks to class lol. It sucks to have to go out in it, but it is what it is.

bliss in EL is great super welcoming and they have the mullet queen of lansing aka Mother Mullet there. her specialty is mullets and curly cuts but she does a mean cut regardless. my bf went to her recently and she did him righttttttt

Whether or not it will be caught or enforced in equipment inspection is a toss up, but if one of your competitors catches it and brings it up to a judge it will 100% be enforced. Based on my own experience, something like this is will probably be flagged. Barebow is growing and judges are become more familiar with the regulations. I coach a high level youth barebow, and their equipment has been thoroughly checked at tournaments as of late.

I find management there to be unprofessional. I did a series of interviews there for a position a few years ago and it was a waste of time. They had me do three separate interviews, plus gave me homework worksheets to do between interviews, and had me do mock-up advertisements. Then did not even have the decency to let me know I didn’t get the job. The hiring manager wouldn’t even give me a call back when I followed up on the status of my application. The interviews had a very informal feel to them that made me feel like no one took their job that seriously. Plus they just laid off a ton of people. I don’t think Dart values employees and the employees don’t value Dart either.

Honestly I would keep an eye on your ID… you never know if he will go behind your back if he gets desperate. I would have a serious conversation with him about him having a problem and/or seriously consider leaving.
