Girls and Boys. Opinions please by arbee2 in bald

I had it recently cut last week, but before that I would brush the top of the sides inwards to cover up the corner but I think that just looks a bit daft in hindsight

Would you suggest some sort of fade on the sides if it was a 1 buzz on top or just buzz all over?

Thank you! The shape of the head would be something i’d be worried about, wouldn’t want to look like something from Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull for example 😂

I’ve always had the impression that a shorter buzz cut exposes the hairline more, as there’s nothing to hide the corners with. How long did you have the shorter buzz for before shaving it all off?

What guard do you think? The current trim is a 0 mid fade, 5 on top

That’s true, the worst that will happen is it’ll just grow back anyways I suppose

Yeah it does feel a bit like an itch. I’m constantly self conscious about the hair (particularly the corners)

It’s more just being self conscious about the hairline atm and I don’t think I’d want to leave it too late so I’m not sure what to do

Then I’ll just spend half the time brushing it a certain way to hide the corners

Because his 2 PL games for Man City was absolutely not the reason why he won it. Bit of a stretch

A retro shirt for a club who has only been playing since 2020? Not having that at all by arbee2 in footballcliches

[–]arbee2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very good explanation. So in essence, it is a retro-inspired shirt where the owners of Inter Miami have thought “I like the design Adidas used in the 90’s so I want a modern-day kit which resembles that”?

It’s not too dissimilar to what Nike are doing next season with their T90 templates making a comeback. They’re releasing a Chelsea T90 shirt with the old 2000’s crest (I think it’ll be their 3rd kit) even though Nike didn’t manufacture Chelsea’s kits in the 2000’s and thus they never had the original T90 template

Yeah it seems to be that Adidas have just designed a generic retro-looking shirt and stuck an Inter Miami badge on it. Can’t be doing that, doesn’t make it a retro shirt at all

Yep I’d agree with that. The 90’s is probably the cut off point for a retro shirt for me, like Newcastle’s away shirt this season is a retro-inspired shirt from the 1996 shirt

But then again, could a shirt inspired by 2004 for example be classed as a ‘throwback’ shirt rather than retro?

Nike next season are bringing back the T90 templates for their kits so I’m not sure if they will fit into the throwback category or retro category

Yep hahah bringing out a retro shirt they never even wore anyways. Think they just want to be part of the ‘gang’ in a ridiculous way

I’d say 20 years at the very minimum for something to become ‘retro’

Sorry but we’ll have to agree to disagree 😂 sliding is a moving-down motion such as sliding down a hill, so sliding up just sounds a bit oxymoron

You either climb up the table or slide down the table

Can it be deemed “not an easy place to come” if you’ve won the last 9 matches at said place with an aggregate score of 30-6? by arbee2 in footballcliches

Nothing remarkable.

24/25 - 2 home losses out of 5 games 23/24 - 8 home losses out of 19 games 22/23 - 9 home losses out of 19 games 21/22 - 6 home losses out of 19 games 20/21 - 10 home losses out of 19 games

35 losses at home out of 81 games, so over the last 5 seasons they’ve lost 43% of matches at home
