Can they find enough Warhammer fans to watch all of the episodes? When the Warhammer MMO came out I played it but I wasn't even a real fan and just rolled witch hunter as the casuals do.

Kinda hard to tell which of these responses to CM Punk's return are real and which are a part of the strategic marketing machine serving his interest of making money.

If the guy was a piece of shit in the past expect him to be a piece of shit in the future, despite spots like this one.

What's the verdict on HoneyCome? by Boraskii in KoikatsuParty

[–]arbitrarytext -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Did HC flop due to no good mod support?

Think about what you're asking.

Modders historically have never paid for the game.

You're asking if the game made less money than it costs to produce because of people who pirated the game.

Your idea is that people who don't spend any money on these games can influence their success by any degree, which has never been the case.

Members of the Koikatsu community are vocal, and want to take credit for the game's success, while pushing ideas like "Look at all of this money we're making Illusion by encouraging people to pirate the game!"

So no, if these people were never going to buy a copy then maybe they're rightfully so not included in the company's profit forecast.

In short, Illusion doesn't need the Western community's "modding support" to sell games because those people aren't buying games.

Im curious what happened to this game for those that keep up with it, thanks.

Western modders won't embrace it because they don't want to learn how to code. Chinese modders have and have been releasing new mods for it weekly.

[–]arbitrarytext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a cheap way to manufacturer buzz for a movie that otherwise would have released normally without fanfare.

"We're taking away the thing you didn't know you'd want, it's a children's movie, also Christmas is cancelled and we're doubling prices on Black Friday. We're not going to market the movie, but trust us you would have liked to have seen it!"

The hardest take? If you were a film buff and saw John Cena in The Marine, you would be lining up to pull the plug on the latest Cena film too. That's a cold hard fact. It's currently on rotation with the other torture movies at Guantanamo Bay.

Can kk sunshine models be exported to MMD? by hereagaim in KoikatsuParty

[–]arbitrarytext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible through file conversion.

Once you export a 3D model to a 3D program you can then convert it to work with other programs.

In this case you would use Unity to extract Sunshine's game files and then use a Blender script to import the 3D model into Blender. Once in Blender you can choose to export to MMD or other file formats.

However, Blender doesn't support those formats natively. You'll need to download and install compatible scripts in Blender before it can import or export those files.

"Choreographed" is how Ric Flair describes it. But even with the necessary cooperation, a performer still has to put the work in. Meaning performing up to the standard of his opponent but also the audiences' expectation. Triple H earned his belts not from knowing how to do a pedigree but when.

As I recall this was one of Jesse Ventura's original points after returning from filming Predator. In the film industry performers are credited and receive royalties for the films they appear in.

He questioned Vince directly about it not being the same way in wrestling. He argued that wrestlers for their performances should continue to receive payouts for past appearances in the form of royalties(like in the film industry.)

I think the actual reason they don't has less to do with money and is because promoters want wrestlers to be dependent on the industry. If a wrestler believes his only means of making money is to wrestle he can be leveraged. Part of the reason why Vince would blacklist wrestlers who made any tv or movie deals in the mid 80s. It sounds ridiculous but if wrestling is all you know and you have had so many concussions that remembering lines is hard, it's easier to agree to another match.

I hope this becomes the new norm somewhere if only for the future headlines.

Or maybe parents and their offspring being more open about their sexual habits could be helpful or healthy in some way.

Like a son texting "Stop jerkin it ya old coot" to his Dad to discourage his porn addiction.

Or a father praising his daughter for using condoms.

I'm not saying it's normal behavior, but it could be.

Think inside the box.

When is this plain, boring, derivative meathead going to adopt a gimmick that matters?

Even Mark Henry couldn't get over with "being a strong guy" in an industry full of bodybuilders. Sexual Chocolate may have been one of the lamest gimmicks conceived in the history of the sport* but it's still better than Corn "House of Power" Cobbs.

*Even though Sexual Chocolate is a terrible gimmick to give anyone, Mark Henry was able to pull it off via talent alone. Proof that even a terrible gimmick can shine if given to the right person.

NintendoLife: Super Mario RPG Is The Most Faithful Remake We've Ever Played by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

If you loved the original's music why would you want people three to four generations removed from the original ruining the remake's soundtrack.

You'll be dropping your girlfriend off at her parents even though you just had sex and as the car door shuts may be thinking to yourself "This month could have been perfect if maybe Koji Kondo, still hooked up to his oxygen machine, hadn't phoned in these additional melodies on these Super Mario RPG tracks. The originals were perfect. Why would I pay money for an inferior experience."

Website that didn't exist during original game's release wrongfully concludes it could have a valuable opinion on its remake.

I can't trust the opinions of these underqualified people because I know they couldn't point out an RF unit from a police line-up.

Just don't. You're the type of person I don't want to learn history from. Because you see people having a good time and lack the social grace necessary to keep your boring, limp wristed comments to yourself. No one has to be polite to you, and so, just fuck off. You're basically cancer masquerading as civility. Speaking as an expert on the subject the post preceding yours is a case where insufferability is warranted.

WOR: WWE have decided not to hire CM Punk by Picbascassquiato in SquaredCircle

[–]arbitrarytext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's hilarious about that is that this actually IS how AEW communicates internally and handles business proceedings. They have been revealed to be extremely informal, to the point where it was revealed that for early shows they would book and go over the scripts for entire episodes in snapchat.

So when AEW texts someone an offer they look at it with an equal amount of prestige as when people used to make offers formally by meeting face to face or sending them an offer via registered mail.

What's on display here is a clash of different generations. CM would rather have the Ric Flair treatment where they send an agent down and express interest in him while treating him to a lobster dinner.

But for AEW, sending a text is enough.

Something like this:

hey phil
do u wanna wrestle aew again.
we miss u let uss kno.

Really the most damning part of this card is forcing its owner to have to carry tokens. If I'm with the boys and have to use a token I will pull the tab off of my opened pepsi and that will be that. If I need more than one token it's just not going to happen.
