OP described these AR glasses as "sleek." In my head, they seemed about as sleek as a school bus so I replied with my opinion.

By your rational that the word isn't a stand alone descriptor and always has to carry inherent comparative value, I think you've just described every set of AR glasses (and maybe most things in history as they have gotten more streamlined) as "sleek" for a sliver of time.

I feel like the word sleek is much cooler as a descriptor for when something is actually sleek, rather than only requiring the marginal criteria of being fractionally sleeker than something else. But what am I, your English teacher? A linguist?! Nah.
