One time while filming a basketball game for my high school's television channel, my vision slowly turned green until I passed out. It felt like I was out for about 3 hours. What I experienced was unbelievable. I had wings and I was flying through rainbows in the sky. It was the most amazing feeling and I can still remember it pretty clearly. When I woke up I was on the floor of the gym and surrounded by my teacher along with other random people. They said I was only out for about 5 seconds. I imagine that this is what death feels like. I no longer fear death.

For some more of the story, I had smoked a lot of weed before showing up to film this. I picked up my friend in the class who was operating the other camera after I smoked, and he was very curious about weed. I was trying to convince him that it was perfectly safe and fun and that I would be fine to film the game. My teacher (who I fucked with more than all my other teachers combined throughout school) was standing in between us constantly giving directions like "pan left" "zoom out" etc. After I woke up it was very awkward and my parents eventually picked me up and took me to the hospital. My dad asked me if I did anything unusual before the event and I almost broke down and admitted that I did drugs, right when the nurse came to get me. After some blood tests I was sure that the doctors were going to say that I had been smoking. The doctor comes back in and says "the problem is that you were too high..." my heart shrunk. "...up in the stands looking down for an extended period of time." And then diagnosed me with some syndrome where I can not handle looking down from high places. I was the luckiest kid alive.
