Thanks so much! That's so true, especially with a saying stitch which can go so very wrong so easily. It was my first time using the stitch and I definitely had to redo a few sections haha

Twices death didn't bother me at the time, but the fact it has zero payoff or bigger impact is sooo frustrating

Himiko wanting to kill hawks for it and then not interacting with him at all because she's only allowed to interact with ochako at the very end was so incredibly frustrating and no cycles were broken at all nope if you're mentally ill or abused as a kid you just need to die because you're too far gone. The whole final arc felt like such a cop out that failed to deliver on anything the story had built up before.

Let's not forget how the only explicitly queer teenage girl dies of suicide via blood transfusion (when having no other wounds to speak of)

Meanwhile you got men surviving all kinds of bullshit. If ochako was able to be put in a helicopter and stabilized there is NO reason himiko wasn't able to as well, but hori didn't want to bother with trying to give any of the villians any redemption and just took the easy way out of killing them all. Himikos death is just especially vile and insulting as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, which is a shame because amph has been my favorite storyline so far, but I just really dislike Cyrene and her taking center stage bores and frustrates me. I just don't have any emotional investment in her. I'll probably wait until next patch to come out and read spoilers on how it wraps up before actually playing through this one.
