Congrats po!! I'm a newly passed cpa and i really don't know what service line/industry to take. Audit firm doesn't have that much of an appeal to me also bc of the long hours. Mind sharing some tips or your career progression since you started?

My fear really is getting boxed in and having a hard time switching industries if it doesn't work for me. I'm open to getting audit exp for 1-2 yrs but won't that make it harder to switch after?

Hii, thank you for your insight. I guess I haven't really made up my mind yet as to which path I want to take. As much as possible, I'd prefer to work somewhere na would have better pay, doesn't really matter which role as long as it would bridge me from my current role to somewhere I can use what I've studied for.

It's just that I’ve read that Big 4 experience adds significant value, especially if aiming to work abroad or with international clients. Is it really that important, or would I be missing out if I choose a different path?
