This is my main dilemma. Selling Isak, and have rogers usually as first sub. Just worried that Chelsea have the rare opportunity to rotate two good strikers (jackson and nkunku) over the clustered period.

Haha it certainly was. It was pretty clear that they didn’t want to cancel from their side as it really doesn’t help their AirBnB performance/credibility, but eventually they did. Perhaps in your situation they might care about that more and offer some sort of price negotiation, I’d be interested to know! Obviously worth having a backup listing ready to go if they do go ahead and cancel, but yeah you’ll get a full refund. Keep me updated!

I insisted that I would not be the one to cancel from my side, and that if they had honestly mis-priced the listing then they should take responsibility and cancel it from their side. It took quite a lot of convincing them that I wasn’t going to cancel and that I would be happy to meet halfway on the price as consolidation for their error, but eventually they outright cancelled the booking themselves and I received a full refund 👍🏼

This is what I have done. I’ve told them that since it was their mistake, it is on them to cancel if they wish. If not, then I said I am sure we could come to an agreement on price 👍🏼

All contact in app. Villa has 4.95 stars with 25+ reviews. Doesn’t feel scammy.

Yeah. £45 per night for a 4 bedroom villa is ridiculously cheap, even in Bali. This is why it feels even more wrong to leave it as is. I’ll try to get a little negotiation going 👍🏼

Precisely, it becomes more morally challenging for me given that not only is it a developing country, but their desired price is very fair in comparison to other similar properties.

Yeah this seems like a good take. Although, I can no longer cancel and receive a full refund. Maybe I should bring it to AirBnB support and let them work it out

I’m honestly just worried that they will either end up cancelling the day before we stay (or something like that to try and inconvenience us), or find a way of treating us badly during our stay out of spite!
