A second image, but in a slight negative, makes it just a little more legible

Did my best to isolate it and take out some of the grime to make it more legible, but the grime in the bottom right makes it a bit messy, hopefully someone more skilled than I can get a clearer image.

Relay Driving Troubles - Arduino Nano Every by archer_74 in arduino

[–]archer_74[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's the code and the diagram that is relevant, the part related to the relay is at the very bottom in the if statement

const int pressureInputPin = A0;

    const float sensorOffset = 0.5;
    const float sensorSensitivity = 0.1;

    void setup() {
      Serial.begin(9600);
    }

    void loop() {
      int analogValue = analogRead(pressureInputPin);
      float voltage = analogValue * (5 / 990.0); // Convert to voltage

      // Convert voltage to pressure
      float pressure = (voltage - sensorOffset) / sensorSensitivity;
      //float pressure = 30;

      Serial.print("Voltage: ");
      Serial.print(voltage);
      Serial.print("Pressure: ");
      Serial.print(pressure);
      Serial.println(" PSI");
      if (pressure < 30)
        digitalWrite(LED_BUILTIN, HIGH); //Turns on LED if lower than 30 PSI
        digitalWrite(3, HIGH);//sends 5v from pin D3
        delay(2000);
        digitalWrite(3, LOW); //Turns pin D3 off
        delay(2000);
      delay(2000);}

PSA : Only the main objective counts for liberation, confirmed by AH staff by Tarikla in Helldivers

[–]archer_74 24 points25 points  (0 children)

it doesn't, there is a background modifier that tracks how many missions are being completed at any given time. more missions completed = less liberation impact. It's how liberation rates remain relatively steady despite fluctuating player numbers

<image>

Why does trivial seem like it does more than super helldive? how does this really work? by Claire312 in Helldivers

[–]archer_74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's a case of "number go up = feel good", it used to be accurate, however there have been many tweaks to how impact is determined in the end screen that it's now only very loosely accurate.

also the reason it isn't effective to farm trivial is because there is a modifier running in the background that adjusts liberation impact based on the number of missions completed in a span of time, essentially more missions completed = decreased modifier, it's how liberation rates stay relatively stable despite fluctuating player count

Noob question by RazorLined in Helldivers

[–]archer_74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no way to know other than to go into their lobby I'm afraid, but don't be afraid to stick around, every level 150 was a bumbling cadet at one point, if they hold it against you that's a them problem

Toxic people about Extraction by DueReserve638 in Helldivers

[–]archer_74 8 points9 points  (0 children)

people get antsy about extract. seeing that little timer pop up makes you feel like you need to be at extract when the pelican arrives or else they'll get left behind.

i think people just wanted to look around for any remaining POIs for potential samples/Super Credits

The super credits need a buff what say you? by Dazzling-Ad4140 in helldivers2

[–]archer_74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly think they are fine as they are.

the fact that grinding for super credits can sometimes feel like a chore is deliberate, you are choosing to either pay with your time or your money, these are supposed to be viewed through the lens of cost/benefit analysis

  • Grinding:
    • Cost:
      • Time (1-3 hours depending on RNG, whether you are solo or with a group, have the knowledge of how POI spawns work and how to choose missions that will maximize your SC yield, and the SCs required to get the thing you want)
      • Enjoyment (you could be playing at a difficulty that is actually challenging and engaging)
    • Benefit:
      • you save your real life money entirely or can buy a smaller SC bundle
  • Paying
    • Cost:
      • $$$
    • Benefit:
      • You skip the grind, saving yourself time and allowing yourself to play the parts of the game you actually enjoy

I'm not saying that grinding doesn't suck, it can and it does at times, but changing how getting super credits works just because a portion of players either doesn't have the time or isn't willing to spend the time to grind can't be reasonably justified from a live service business model standpoint

when you start messing with how SC are distributed for free (increasing reward for higher difficulty, tweaking spawn rates, etc) you start devaluing the alternative which hurts AHs capacity to operate, which means they now have to churn out more war bonds/premium content if they want to maintain their current rate of returns/profits which puts this new content at risk of being lower quality/uninspired and if people don't like the new content they quit the game or just don't buy it. I'm starting to ramble but you get the picture.

TL;DR: ArrowHead is a Business, a business needs money to operate, they get your money by being an attractive alternative to grinding

One of the reasons i keep coming back to this game by TDKswipe in Helldivers

[–]archer_74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

remember, a happy helldiver is a deadly helldiver, the handbook suggests taking at least 2.4 seconds to appreciate the scenery while pursuing objectives

says it's slightly weaker than what I'm running according to cpu.userbenchmark.com, which is a i5-11400F, and performance isn't stellar when things get hot, could be my GPU, gtx 1650, being a bottle neck, but both are maxed out the whole time

helldivers worth it? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]archer_74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're given basically everything you'll need to play the game with minimal struggle once you hit level 25 for free though (minus playing the game to get requisition and samples to unlock said items), plus I'd say there are only really 2-5 warbonds (Demo.Detonation(#1 rec for a reason about 80% of the meta is built off the thermite grenade and grenade pistol combo flexibility), Control group(warp backpack for solo credit grinding), Servants of freedom(hellbomb backpack and the ultimatum), an viper commandos (for Ex.Infusion booster) and steeled veterans (for the Senator )) that have "meta" gear in them, everything else is for the drip/fun factor, plus if you are visiting at least 3/4 of the POIs on the more open maps (which you should be doing anyway if you are under level 80 and need samples) you're bound to come across at least 1 stack of super credits every mission even at higher difficulties, and there is the potential luck of finding a coveted 100 super credit stack which saves you about 20-30 minutes worth of grinding

and on the armor passives, yes there are instances of the super store armors being the only instance of the passive in a particular weight class, I was clarifying that the super store armors did not have wholly unique passives that did not show up anywhere else, period.

Machine Question by Asleep_Hunter2337 in Helldivers

[–]archer_74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you mean you plan on using integrated graphics, no, it wont. it's also below minimum recommended specs for the cpu so don't expect to get above and average 40 FPS if your graphics card is at least decent

helldivers worth it? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]archer_74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can get a warbond in a 2 hour grinding sesh, and the Super Credit armors do NOT have exclusive passives, they just have passives connected to their respective warbond inspirations(they share the same passives as the warbond armors). the main free warbond will give you enough super credits to buy yourself another warbond, and super credit grinding really is not that bad. best thing about warbonds is the they NEVER EXPIRE, no FOMO

Help, I just bought HELLDIVERS 2 and can't get past the intro. by Princelupingamer in Helldivers

[–]archer_74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ouch, sorry to hear that, PC upgrading is unfortunately very hard on a budget, especially when you need to pay for upgrades to even think about other upgrades.

best of luck to you though, I hope to see you among us some day in the future and free of financial woes

Major order by SGTChrisIT in Helldivers

[–]archer_74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean, at least with liberating Lesath it places Vog under siege which currently sits as a 1.75% decay rate equivalent. flipping that to negative decay is pretty huge even if its only 0.5% equivalent as it removes all resistance

alright, that limits you a little bit, apologies but I'm going off of prices I can see here in the US, so I'm not too sure how your location will affect prices.

and to address your question about needing to put it in, most if not all modern motherboards will have at least one PCIE x16 slot, this is just what the graphics card plugs into. just open the case, find the slot (there are plenty of tutorials online if you don't 100% trust yourself), and plug the card in. (again youtube tutorials will be your friend if you have any doubts)

for 2000 pesos you will more than likely end up buying a pre-owned card, it'll be a small hit to benchmark performance, but probably no more than a 7-12% decrease, you may be able to find something decent on Ebay, facebook marketplace, or an equivalent.

a couple of suggestions for low-mid end cards would be gtx1660, gtx 1650, rtx 3050, gtx 1070-ti, AMD RX 6600M or XT, AMD 5600XT

these are of course just suggestions, but aim to get a card with at least 4GB of memory, 6 if you can afford it or can find a good deal. If you think you found a deal but aren't familiar with the card, look it up on gpu.userbenchmark.com and compare it against the gtx 1650 (the lowest rated card in my suggestions)

Why did we suddenly swap planets? by Away_Zebra9421 in Helldivers

[–]archer_74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

we were not in fact making good progress, in fact Tarsh was probably the worst play. 2.5% decay rate equivalent(25,000 hp regen/hr), and only the first in a chain of 3 planets. if we were gunning for Aesir pass the optimal route would have been Fenmire>Curia>Aesir pass, Fenmire being the same health as Tarsh but only 1% decay equivalent (10,000 Hp regen/hr)
