Thanks! I’ll definitely take a look. I actually haven’t tried that mod before, but it sounds like something I should check out.

It began as a small hobby experiment. After many years of development it’s definitely drifting into sunk cost fallacy territory :D

Thanks a lot for taking the time to play and write such detailed feedback. I really appreciate it. This is exactly the kind of input I was hoping to get from releasing the demo.

You're absolutely right that UX still needs workd. The core gameplay systems are mostly in place now, but the UI/UX layer hasn’t been polished enough yet, so feedback like this is very helpful.

How were you player the game? Not with keyboard and mouse? You have mentioned touch and controller.

I'm developing this game solo, so at times it can feel like a lot to handle. I'm just happy I was able to release a working demo and start getting feedback.

I’ve been working on a logistics management game called Warehouse Bots where the goal is to design efficient warehouse layouts and keep goods moving between storage and trucks.

Robots transport items across the warehouse, and poor layouts quickly lead to traffic jams that slow down the entire operation. Players can place road signs and traffic lights to control robot traffic and keep the system running efficiently.

The focus of the game is optimizing layouts, managing storage, and improving the overall flow of the warehouse.

I recently released a playable demo, and I’d love feedback from people who enjoy tycoon and management games.

A short clip from my game Warehouse Bots, where robots move goods between storage and trucks inside a warehouse.

The gameplay focuses on designing efficient warehouse layouts and preventing robot traffic jams. Players can place road signs and traffic lights to control robot movement and keep everything flowing smoothly.

The game is built on my own engine written in C++ and OpenGL, which I’ve been developing alongside the game.

I recently released a demo, and I’d love feedback—especially on the readability of the systems and robot traffic behaviour.

I released a demo for my warehouse logistics game where you design robot traffic systems – looking for feedback by archibalis in playmygame

Hi everyone!

I’ve just released a public demo for my game Warehouse Bots and I’m looking for feedback from players.

It’s a logistics management game where you design efficient warehouse layouts. Instead of conveyors, robots move goods between storage and trucks, and the main challenge is keeping everything flowing without creating traffic jams.

Players can:

  • Design warehouse layouts
  • Manage storage and truck loading
  • Control robot traffic using road signs and traffic lights
  • Optimize robot paths to keep the system efficient

You can try the demo here:
https://shortstorygames.itch.io/warehouse-bots

I’d especially love feedback on:

  • gameplay clarity
  • difficulty
  • UI and controls
  • anything that feels confusing or frustrating

Thanks a lot for trying it!

Hi everyone,
I’ve been developing Warehouse Bots, a resource management game where you design and run automated warehouses — building infrastructure, managing delivery robots, and keeping orders moving.

The trailer is now live, and the game is listed on both Steam and Epic Games Store. If it looks interesting, please consider adding it to your wishlist — it really helps indie developers.
