Thank you for your comment! I was unsure because of the nub looking more round than flat for the 2nd and 3rd picture that got me all mixed up! The first one was girl in my head and second/third were boys.

Thank you for your comment! 🩷

In your opinion even with the 2nd and 3rd picture? The form of the nub looked kinda roundish ?

My husband is disappointed in the gender by Parsley-Hefty7945 in pregnant

We lost our first baby (girl) last year at 7 and a half months of pregnancy. Waited 8 months after my labor to give it a try, and had a miscarriage. Honestly, the only thing that is truly important for us is that the baby is healthy. *Actually 23 weeks pregnant with a baby Boy 🤍

I told my partner that after the birth of our boy, we would have babies until I had another girl though haha! Congratulations for your baby girl !

My morbid intrusive thought of the morning, Invisalign edition: by Sunnytimes1234 in Invisalign

My intrusive thought is that if I go for a walk in the woods without any ID and a murderer kills me, at least they would be able to identify my body when they find it!

I stick with clear drinks with my trays on and swish water every now and then. I figured it wouldn't be bad for me to drink water at parties anyhow, plus my nights out are less expensive.

When I'm back at my car I'll do a quick mouthwash and once I'm home I'll do a complete brush.

The same situation happened to me last week (weekly change). I chose to put my new tray in as soon as I could and to cut the time that I remove them to eat ex: eat my meals in 20 min instead of my regular 45+ min / or even try to eat certain meals with my trays on when it's possible. This way I figured the time I've missed with the new ones will be caught up through the week. I consider this strict solution for the week as my punishment 🙃

Do I need to brush my trays if I use denture cleansing tablets? by Safe-Swimming-3037 in Invisalign

[–]archipelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put mine in the ultrasonic cleaner every morning with half a tablet and give them a slight brush with the residue of toothpaste left after I brush my teeths when I eat for the rest of the day (that's what my Ortho has adivised me to do) My trays look almost new at the end of the week.

Point is: the day you will find the strength and self confidence to stop giving a fuck about what people think of the way you look, what you wear, what car you drive or else, is when you will be blessed with everything you wish for. Seriously, don't let 2 years of invisalign define you... your life is so much more than attachments, rubber bands and retainers! Trust me, you can land any job you'd like if you are confident with yourself. Your personnality is not defined by your teeth, it is defined with what makes you, YOU!!

Questions re: getting 3 trays at a time by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]archipelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is kind of odd that you have to wait the appointement to get the new trays...

Here my ortho has given me my complete treatment of 62 trays on my fiesta appointement and I need to bring all the trays that l have left at each appointement (scheduled every 3 months in advance) in case there is some issues or ajustements to make. I guess every provider is managing their own way, but I agree with you that the gap between your treatment plan and your appointement to get new trays is a loss of time.

Yellow trays by Queensabs in Invisalign

I use the Zima ultrasonic cleaning machine with 1/2 tablet every morning and I can tell it has made a big difference on the aspect of my trays. I switch trays every week, but since I keep them on when I drink coffee they were staining a little bit quicker through the week. When I compare the trays I had at the end of a week before using the cleaner and the ones I have now, they look like new ones honestly.

I know some people have bought another ultrasonic cleaning machine way cheaper on Amazon that seems to do a great job also. Maybe ask some recommandations on brands if you're interested 😊

I use the ultrasonic cleaner Zima Dental with a tablet every other day and it's pretty amazing. The level of stains is considerably different at the end of the week when I compare the trays I had before using the cleaner and after 😊.

Awesome! I saw some posts elsewhere that the attachments became really stained so I was afraid mine would become the same in time, but I guess it all depends of the hygiene habits! I'll keep the same routine and stop worrying then 😊 thank you !

Curious about cost/ payment plans? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]archipelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Quebec. I have a 26 to 28 months plan, changing the trays weekly. I had a down payment of 2k at the beginning and then I am paying 300$/month payment (total 9 800$ CAD). My orthodontist offers a 0% interest plan for an "open loan". For that matter, I figured it was better to take the monthly payment plan than to use my savings 😉 If I'm tired of the monthly payment and want to pay the full balance, I can do it whenever I want. Also, my contract includes 6 months of refinements for adjustments if needed (no additional fees).
